As of now, my life is going great!  I have 6 more months until I graduate.  I have not quite finished the application process for colleges just yet, but I will soon be finished.  
I really want to go to Marist College in Poughkeepsie!!  it is a great school and has everything I need!  ahhh, I would be so happy if i get accepted.  
I am sort of seeing a boy named Chris.  He is a lovely.. a very nice guy.  I do not know what will happen with it, or if it will work because there are a few issues... he lives 1.5 hours from me.  :0S

ooh, and on December 30th I will be flying up to Halifax to see my gorgeous boy Andrew!  I am soo excited.  Andrew is the canadian exchange student who was with me through everything in Australia and I get to see him again in just over 2 weeks!!  I'll spend New Years Eve up there, which will be soo much fun!!  Then I will return home on the 4th of January... missing 2 days of school, but it is not an issue.  

hmmm... what else?  Sarah is going on exchange to Japan, which is awesome and now I must visit.  :0)

I am planning a trip back to OZ to see all of my wonderful friends and family down that way.  I plan on staying for 6 weeks before college starts, so if you'd like to donate to the cause, please do!  haha.  

I started a very strict diet last week but after the 4th day, I gave up on it... it was a bit of a disappointment.

well i cut my hair months ago.  this is an update.  Ashley September 2004!

I have been home for 3 weeks now.  
Things seem back to normal.  
I went to a show last week, it was heaps fun.  I went with Jason and I met up with Dac.  She went to Finland on exchange so it was so excellent to catch up with her and share experiences.  The first 2 bands were crap.  But I liked Radio 4 from NY, I really liked Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, who played last... so that was awesome!

Some days I feel terrible.  I have a longing to be in Townsville, surrounded by everyone who made my year wonderful...  it will be a while before I am able to return to OZ.  I am meeting up with Andrew up in Canada for a weekend.  I miss him heaps.  

Today is Saturday, 17th July.  I woke up at 11:30 and I feel like crap.  
I have been home for over a week now.  I honestly do not HATE it at home.  It has been good so far.  Of course I still get irritated by the little things people do... but some things never change.  I am sure they feel the same way about me.  
I miss Australia.  I miss Townsville.  I even miss Pimlico.  I espessially miss all of my wonderful friends.  People were so excellent!  
I miss all of the exchange students... they are irreplaceable.  

I feel like I woke up from an incredible dream.  I am looking out my window, and I feel like it is summer 2003.  Before I ever left, except this time I am not waiting to go to Australia.  I can not believe an entire year has past in Honesdale and I have been gone.  I will go back to the same old school, after a year of attending Pimlico.
